…出血性ショック死は失血死といわれるもので，外傷や大動脈瘤などの破裂で急激に，あるいは徐々に多量の出血が起こった際にみられる。過敏症ショック死はジフテリア血清や破傷風血清を2度目に注射された際や，ペニシリンなどの抗生物質，局所麻酔剤，ピリン系などの解熱鎮痛剤を注射されたり，服用した際や，ハチなどに刺された際などにショックを起こして死亡するもので，薬物によるショック死は薬物ショック死ともいわれる。中毒性ショック死は薬･毒物による中毒の際や，ジフテリアや破傷風に感染したり，敗血症の場合の細菌毒素による中毒の際や，マムシ，ハブなどの毒ヘビにかまれた際にみられるショック死である。…
