Persulfate - Karyusan

The old name for sulfur oxoacids with -OO- bonded to S. This is a misnomer and should be called peroxosulfuric acid (see alternative term: peroxy acid). There are two types: H ₂ SO ₅ is called peroxomonosulfuric acid (old name, monopersulfuric acid), and H ₂ S ₂ O ₈ is called peroxodisulfuric acid (old name, dispersulfuric acid).

硫黄のオキソ酸で，Sに-O-O-が結合したものの旧名．これは誤称であり，ペルオキソ硫酸とよぶべきである([別用語参照]過――酸)．2種類あって，H₂SO₅をペルオキソ一硫酸(旧名，一過硫酸)，H₂S₂O₈をペルオキソ二硫酸(旧名，二過硫酸)という．
