Mr. Akimoto

Lord of the Kozuke Tatebayashi Domain. In the 13th century, Utsunomiya Yoritsuna's son Yasunori ruled over Akimoto Manor in Kazusa Province, and it is said that during the reign of Mototomo, he took the name Akimoto. Nagatomo later served Tokugawa Ieyasu, and in 1601 (Keicho 6) became the lord of Soja Castle in Kozuke Province with a fief of 10,000 koku, and his son Yasutomo became the lord of Kaitani Village with a fief of 18,000 koku. Takatomo became a senior councilor and was given a fief of 50,000 koku in Musashi-Kawagoe, and Suzutomo also became a senior councilor and was transferred to Dewa Yamagata with a fief of 60,000 koku. In 1845 (Koka 2) during the reign of Shitomo, the fief was changed to 63,000 koku in Kozuke Tatebayashi, and the domain was abolished. After the Meiji Restoration, he became a viscount. [Fujii Joji]

上野館林藩主。13世紀宇都宮頼綱の子泰業が上総国秋元庄を領し，師朝のとき秋元氏を称したと伝える。その後長朝は徳川家康に仕え，1601年(慶長6)上野国総社1万石の城主，その子泰朝は甲斐谷村（やむら）1万8000石の城主となった。喬知は老中となり，武蔵川越5万石を領し，涼朝も老中となり，出羽山形6万石に転封。1845年(弘化2)志朝のとき上野館林6万3000石に転じ廃藩を迎えた。維新後子爵。【藤井譲治】
