Born: June 1, 1790 in Vienna
[Died] July 5, 1836. Pottenstein Austrian playwright and director. His real name was Raimann. He joined a traveling theater company at a young age, and after performing on the stage in Vienna, he became a director. He perfected fairy plays, wrote plays that sympathized with the poor people, and contributed to the development of the Vienna theater scene together with Grillparzer. He died by suicide. His representative works include Das Mädchen aus der Feenwelt oder Der Bauer als Millionär (1826) and Der Verschwender (34).
