Harima [town] - Harima
A town in Kako District, southern Hyogo Prefecture. Facing the Harima Nada Sea, it is part of the Harima coastal industrial zone. In the early Meiji period, a fertilizer factory was built on reclaimed land at Beppu Kawajiri, and since then, large spinning, chemical, and steel factories have been established, and industrialization has progressed. The Sanyo Main Line and the Sanyo Electric Railway Main Line run through the town. 9.13 km 2 . Population: 33,183 (2010).
