Imakane [town] - Imakane
A town in Setana County, Hokkaido. The plains along the Shiribeshi Toshibetsu River are home to rice farming, field crops and dairy farming. Forestry is also practiced. The town's name comes from two pioneers, Imamura Tojiro and Kanamori Ishiro. Area 568.25 km2 . Population 6,186 (2010).
