Carnivora, Felidae. Body length 70 cm. Short, soft, and shiny fur. Beautiful orange-brown, sometimes with a grayish tinge. Slightly dark on the back, dark spots on the sides and underside. A very rare wildcat, and nocturnal, its habits are not well known. It feeds on rodents, birds, and rock raccoons. It inhabits the forests of Senegal, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Kenya.
