The cape at the northeastern tip of Siberia, Russia. In Japan, it is often called Cape Dezhnev. It is also the northeastern tip of the Asian continent. It is located at 66°05′N, 169°40′W. In 1648, SI Dezhnev (c. 1605-1672 or 1673) and Popov sailed there.
