[Grafting method]
Grafting methods are broadly divided into branch grafting, bud grafting, and grafting (call grafting). (1) Branch grafting: A branch with one or several buds is cut to an appropriate length and grafted onto a rootstock. Depending on how the rootstock is cut and how the rootstock and scion are joined, this can be divided into cut grafting, cleft grafting, and join grafting. Of these, cut grafting is the most widely used, in which a branch with two buds is usually cut off, and one side of the base is vertically shaved off 2 to 3 cm to a thickness of about 1 mm, and the other side is cut off at an angle of 45 degrees.
