[1] A Tendai sect temple in Maehira, Ikawadani-cho, Nishi-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The mountain name is Sanshinzan. It is said to have been founded in 716 by Fujiwara Kamatari's grandson Umakai . The founder was Jokei (Kamatari's eldest son). It houses seven Yakushi Nyorai statues and became a temple at the request of Emperor Gensho. The main hall is a national treasure. Taizan-ji Yakushi. [2] A Shingon sect Chizan school temple in Taizan-ji-cho, Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. The mountain name is Takiunzan. It is said to have been founded during the reign of Emperor Yomei by Mano Choja of Bungo Province (Oita Prefecture). It houses six eleven-headed Kannon statues that were donated by successive emperors from Emperor Go-Reizei to Emperor Go-Shirakawa, excluding Emperor Shirakawa. The main hall is a national treasure. [一] 兵庫県神戸市西区伊川谷町前開にある天台宗の寺。山号は三身山。霊亀二年(七一六)藤原鎌足の孫宇合(うまかい)の創建と伝えられる。開山は定恵(鎌足の長男)。薬師如来七体を安置し、元正天皇の勅願寺となった。本堂は国宝。太山寺薬師。[二] 愛媛県松山市太山寺町にある真言宗智山派の寺。山号は滝雲山。用明天皇のとき、豊後国(大分県)の真野長者が創建したと伝えられる。後冷泉天皇から後白河天皇までの白河天皇をのぞいた歴代の天皇が納めた十一面観音六体を安置している。本堂は国宝。四国八十八所の第五二番札所。護持院。
