Zuiryuji Temple

A Nichiren sect nunnery in Omihachiman, Shiga Prefecture. The temple's proper name is Murakumo Zuiryuji. In 1596, Hideyoshi Toyotomi's sister, Nichishu-ni, built a temple in Kyoto to pray for the soul of her son, Hidetsugu. Source: About Shogakukan Digital Daijisen Information | Legend |
