Arthur obtains the sword Excalibur and becomes King of Britain. He marries Guinevere, pacifies the nations, and sets off on an expedition to Rome. During his absence, Arthur receives news that his nephew Mordred has seized the throne and married Guinevere, so Arthur immediately returns home and defeats Mordred, but is seriously injured himself and leaves for the island of Avalon (Etna). …
