Oyamafugu - Oyamafugu

...A marine fish of the Tetraodontiformes order, Tetraodontiidae family (illustration). It has local names such as Oyamafugu (Wakayama) and Genkaifugu (Oita). Its distribution ranges from southern Hokkaido to the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan, and the waters off China, but it is most prevalent in the central and southern parts of Honshu.
