Federation of India

In 1934 he obtained his master's degree and qualified as a lawyer. During this time he founded the India League in London in 1929, which would later become the British representative office of the Indian National Congress. He was attracted to the socialist ideas of Harold Laski and was closely involved in the activities of the British Labour Party, coming into contact with many socialists.
