Gran Chaco (English spelling)

…The Gran Chaco is a vast plain in the center of South America. It is an alluvial plain that reaches from the Paraguay River in the east to the foothills of the Andes in the west. It is divided into the Chaco Boreal, which lies north of the Pilcomayo River, and the Argentine Chaco, which lies south of the Pilcomayo River.
