Tuojiang - Dako

Japanese: 沱江 - だこう

A tributary of the Yangtze River that flows through central Sichuan Province, China. It originates from Mount Jiuding in the northwest of the Sichuan Basin, flows south through the basin, passes through Ziyang and Neijiang, and joins the Yangtze River in Luzhou. Its total length is 655 km. In the upper reaches up to Jintang County, the Qingbai River and other rivers were collected after the construction of the Dujiangyan sluice gate of the Minjiang River system during the Qin Dynasty, and the irrigation network has expanded and developed. In the middle and lower reaches, hills several tens of meters high rise, the river meanders, and the water volume is small, but sugarcane and rice have been cultivated here since ancient times.

中国，四川省中部を流れる長江(揚子江)の支流。四川盆地北西部の九頂山から発し，盆地内を南流，資陽，内江などをへて瀘州市で長江と合流する。全長655km。金堂県までの上流部では，秦代に開かれた岷江（みんこう）水系の都江堰（とこうえん）工事のあと，青白江などを集め，水利灌漑網が拡大，発展している。中･下流部では比高数十mの丘陵が起伏し，川は蛇行，水量も少ないが，古来，サトウキビやイネ栽培がすすんでいる。
