Cottony scale

Also known as Iseria scale insect. A type of insect in the Hemiptera order, family Coccidae. Body length is 5-13 mm, females are oval, orange in color and covered with a yellowish-white waxy substance. They grow in colonies on citrus fruits, sucking their juice and causing damage. Native to Australia. They have invaded various parts of Asia, causing great damage to citrus fruits.
