Controversy over the biological and genetic theories of the Soviet agronomist TD Lysenko. From the end of the 1920s, Lysenko proposed various theories that were in line with the ideological and agricultural policies of the Soviet government and Communist Party, sparking controversy not only in the Soviet Union but also on a global scale in both biological and political aspects.
