Japanese: 衣領樹 - えりょうじゅ
Clothing tree - Eryoju

...The Sanzu River is spoken of together with the mountain of death, but it is not a Buddhist theory but a popular myth. On the banks of the Sanzu River there is a large tree called the Eryoju, and beneath it there are an old woman and an old man in the form of demons called Datsueba and Keneou. The old woman snatches the clothes of the deceased, and the old man takes them and hangs them on the Eryoju. It is said that the way the branches hang down varies depending on the severity of the sins the deceased committed in life.
