A scholar and civil official in the late Joseon Dynasty of Korea. His pen name was Maoguwan, and his pen names included Hyeonam, Gajeong, and Cheongjangwan. He was from Jeonju. In 1778 he accompanied the Yan Dynasty to Beijing, and after returning home he wrote the Yeongji (Records of Yeongseon), and together with Park Jae-ga and Park Ji-won formed the Northern School of Sillac studies. As he was an illegitimate child (born by a concubine), his status in politics was limited, but his talent was recognized by King Jeongjo, who appointed him as a scribe at Gyujanggak together with Park Jae-ga, Yu Deok-gong, and Seo Ri-soo. His main work was the 71-volume Complete Works of Cheongjangwan. One of the last scholars of the Sillac school, Yi Gyu-gyeong (1788-?), was his grandson.

朝鮮，李朝後期の学者，文臣。字は懋官，号は炯庵，雅亭，青荘館など。全州の人。1778年に燕行使に随行して北京に赴き，帰国後《燕記》を著し，朴斉家，朴趾源らとともに実学における北学派を形成した。庶子(妾腹の子)であったために政界での地位は制約されたが，その才を国王正祖に認められて，朴斉家，柳得恭，徐理修とともに奎章閣（けいしようかく）の検書官に登用された。主著に《青荘館全書》71巻がある。実学派の最後を飾る学者の一人李圭景(1788‐？)は孫である。
