〘Noun〙 A school of the Oie-ryu style. This style of calligraphy was started by Ohashi Shigeyasu (Ryukei) and his son Shigemasa, and was widely used for official documents because Shigemasa was a shogunate official. *Haiku poem, Saikaku Oyakazu (1681), No. 5: "I leave the white dew on the paper and then fix my hand.
