Spinning - Hats

Japanese:
Spinning - Hats
An operation in which a substance with fiber-forming ability (mainly a chain-like polymeric substance) is put into a molten state or solution and passed through the holes in a spinneret to form threads. There are three main types: (1) Melt spinning. A spinning method in which a polymeric substance is melted and discharged into air, gas, or a suitable liquid, where it is cooled and solidified. Used for nylon, Tetoron, etc. (2) Dry spinning. A spinning method in which a solution of a polymeric substance is extruded into heated air and the solvent is evaporated to obtain fibers. Used for acetate rayon, Oron, etc. (3) Wet spinning. A spinning method in which a solution of a polymeric substance is extruded into a suitable liquid and solidified. Used for viscose rayon, vinylon, etc. The material of the spinneret is a gold-platinum alloy for viscose rayon, and nickel or stainless steel for others. →Spinning→Related topics Regenerated fibers | Cuprammonium rayon
