牟子 - Hat (English spelling) Móu zǐ
An ancient Chinese thinker. His name is also unknown, and he is also called Muzibo or Murong. His birth and death years are also unknown, but according to the preface to his work Liquorun, he was from Cangwu (Guangxi Province) in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, and he read a great deal of classics, military strategy, and even books on immortals. Although he considered himself a Confucian scholar, he went to Giaoji (Vietnam) to avoid the chaos that was raging in the country at the end of the reign of Emperor Ling (reigned 168-188), and later returned home at the age of 26, but did not enter the government. He studied Buddhism and Laozi, and wrote Liquorun, a 37-article debate on the unity of the three religions of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism.
