Chinese Tang Dynasty official. Born in Yuezhou (Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province). His pen name was Jihai. His posthumous name was Dingshi. He passed the Ming Classics Examination at a young age, and after being recommended by the famous literati official Zhang Shuo, he held many government positions. During the An Lushan Rebellion, he was the prefect of Xiangyang and the defense envoy of Bengun. He was skilled in cursive and clerical script, and it is said that all of Suzong's imperial edicts were written by Xu Hao. Although he was highly trusted by Suzong, he was demoted after being criticized by the powerful eunuch Li Fuguo. He was called back to the central government during the reign of Emperor Daizong, and eventually became the governor of Guangzhou, but he was again demoted after being accused of accumulating wealth there.

中国，唐の官僚。越州 (浙江省紹興) の人。字は季海。諡は定始。若くして明経科に合格し，著名な文人官僚の張説 (ちょうえつ) の推挙を受けて多くの官職を歴任した。安史の乱のときは襄陽太守本郡防禦使であった。草書，隷書に巧みで，粛宗の詔令はみな徐浩の手になったといわれる。粛宗の信任は厚かったが，時の権勢者の宦官李輔国のそしりを受けて左遷された。代宗朝に再び中央に召され，やがて広州の節度使となったが，そこで貨財を蓄積したことを弾劾されて，再び左遷された。
