Subarctic summer rainy climate - Akantainatsuamekikou

One of the subarctic climate divisions. Subarctic climates can be further divided into subarctic rainy climates, which have particularly heavy winter precipitation, and subarctic rainy summer climates, which are continental and have precipitation limited to the summer, with many sunny days in winter and little snow. The name is chosen based on whether the emphasis is on the relatively heavy rainfall in summer or the light rainfall in winter. It is also called subarctic light winter rainfall climate, subarctic dry winter climate, or cool rainy summer climate, and is found from northeastern China to eastern Siberia. In winter, Siberia is covered by high pressure, so the weather is good and there is little snowfall. In summer, low pressure areas develop and the rain is relatively heavy.

亜寒帯の気候区分の一つ。亜寒帯気候を降水の季節配分で細区分すると、とくに冬の降水量が多い亜寒帯多雨気候と、大陸的で、降水は夏季のみに限られ、冬は晴天の日が多く、積雪も少ない亜寒帯夏雨気候になる。相対的に夏に多い雨に着目するか、冬の少ない雨を強調するかで、名称がつけられる。亜寒帯冬季少雨気候、亜寒帯冬季乾燥気候、冷帯夏雨気候ともいい、中国の北東部からシベリア東部にかけて分布している。シベリア地方は冬季、高気圧に覆われて天気がよく、降雪は少ない。夏季は低圧部が発達し、雨が相対的に多くなる。
