A fascist youth organization officially recognized by the Nazi Party, officially launched in 1926 at the first party conference of the reborn Nazi Party, renamed the Großer Deutscher Youth. It was made up of young people aged 15-18, with those aged 10-14 organized into the Young Volksbühle (Jungvolk) and given preparatory training for the Youth. The women's section was the League of German Girls. It was organized on a large scale under the direction of B. Schirach, and focused on militaristic patriotic education and collective physical and military training.
