A mountain in the western part of the Takanawa Peninsula in northern Ehime Prefecture. It is 986m above sea level. It belongs to Matsuyama City and is one of the centers of the Okudogo Tamagawa Prefectural Natural Park. In the Middle Ages, it was the castle of the Kono clan of the Iyo Navy. There is a primeval beech forest from the mountainside to the summit, and Takanawa Temple is located among the giant cedars near the summit. 愛媛県北部,高縄半島西部にある山。標高 986m。松山市に属し,奥道後玉川県立自然公園の中心の一つ。中世には伊予水軍河野氏の居城があった。山腹から山頂にかけてブナの原生林があり,山頂近くの巨杉の間に高縄寺がある。
