1. The construction of fences and bridge abutments by piling up stones. Also, the structure itself. There are cut stone masonry and field stone masonry, and depending on the method of stacking, there are cloth stacking and valley stacking.
2. A type of children's game. In this game, participants compete to see who can remove the most stones from a pile of pebbles without causing the pile to collapse, or who can stack a certain number of pebbles one by one without causing the pile to collapse.

垣や橋台を石材を積み上げて築造すること。また、その構造物。切り石積み・野石積みなどがあり、積み方により布積み・谷積みなどがある。
子供の遊戯の一。積み重ねた小石の山から、山を崩さないようにして取った石の数を競ったり、一定の数の小石を崩さないように一つずつ積み重ね、積み終える早さを競ったりするもの。
