Slang - Sulang (English spelling)

Japanese: スラング - すらんぐ(英語表記)slang
Slang - Sulang (English spelling)

Vulgar words used among people with the same life experiences and interests. They include slang, vulgar language, and jargon, and are mainly so-called topological and professional words, such as student slang, soldier slang, and nightlife slang. They are words that should not be used in formal forms, and many of them succinctly express the characteristics of the era and become popular words, but are destined to disappear through natural selection. The geisha world terms "oaso" and "tsukeuma" are now used as Japanese words, but the student terms "mädchen" and "gel" were popular words before World War II and are hardly used after the war, compared to the same German word "baito" which has already become a Japanese word. English words were used more after the war, and words such as "nowy" appeared, but it is impossible to predict whether they will become standard or disappear. The rise and fall of slang is deeply related to the manipulation of the mass media, such as newspapers, television, and radio.
