Shukumi Tonkura - Miyake clams

This Tonokura is said to have been located near present-day Shijimi-cho, Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture. The location is identified with Shijimi-sato, Minagi County, as described in the Harima no Kuni Fudoki, and Shijimi-go, Minagi County, as described in the Wamyōshō. According to the Nihon Shoki, Pre-accession Chronicle of Emperor Kenzō, after the death of Emperor Ankō, the brothers Oke (later Emperor Ninken) and Koke (later Emperor Kenzō), sons of Prince Ichinobe no Oshiha, who was killed by Emperor Yūryaku, hid themselves under the care of Oshinumibe no Miyatsuko Hosome, the head of Tonokura in Shukumi, Harima Province. However, it is said that he was discovered at a banquet in Niimuro by Iyonokumebe no Otate, an ancestor of the Yamabe clan, the governor of Harima Province. The Harima no Kuni Fudoki and Kojiki also contain similar accounts, although the details differ.

現在の兵庫県三木市志染町(しじみちょう)付近にあったとされる屯倉。同所は《播磨国風土記》に記される美嚢(みなぎ)郡志深里，《和名抄》に記される美嚢郡志染郷に比定されている。《日本書紀》顕宗天皇即位前紀によれば，安康(あんこう)天皇の死後，雄略(ゆうりゃく)天皇によって殺害された市辺押磐皇子(いちのべのおしはのおうじ)の子億計(おけ)（のち仁賢天皇）と弘計(おけ)（のち顕宗天皇）の兄弟は，播磨国縮見屯倉の首(おびと)忍海部造細目(おしぬみべのみやつこほそめ)のもとに身を隠していた。だが播磨国の司(みこともち)山部連(やまべのむらじ)の先祖伊予来目部小楯(いよのくめべのおたて)によって新室(にいむろ)の宴で見つけ出されたとある。《播磨国風土記》《古事記》にも，細部は異なるもののほぼ同様の所伝を載せる。
