Shijimizuka shell mound - Shijimizukakaizuka
This is an archaeological site (historic site) from the late to final Jomon period in Shijimizuka-cho, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is a horseshoe-shaped shell mound consisting of marine shells on the Mikatahara Plateau on the eastern shore of Lake Sanaru. Remains of flatland dwellings have been discovered beneath the shell layer, and numerous buried human bones have also been discovered.

静岡県浜松市蜆塚町にある縄文(じょうもん)後期から晩期にかけての遺跡（史跡）。佐鳴(さなる)湖東岸の三方原(みかたはら)台地上に馬蹄(ばてい)形状に分布する海産の貝のみの貝塚。貝層下から平地住居の跡が発見され，また埋葬人骨も多数発見されている。
