Sasakawa Imperial Palace

This refers to the political institution established by the Kamakura government to govern the Oshu and Ushu provinces during the Muromachi period, and its head, Ashikaga Mitsutada. In 1399, Kamakura kubo Ashikaga Mitsukane dispatched his younger brothers Mitsusada and Mitsunao to Inamura, Iwase County, Mutsu Province (present-day Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture) and Sasakawa, Asaka County, Mutsu Province (present-day Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture), respectively, and used them as bases for governing the two provinces. → Inamura Imperial Palace Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |

室町期，鎌倉府が奥羽両国を統治するために置いた政治機関，およびその当主足利満直(みつただ)をさす。1399年鎌倉公方足利満兼が弟の満貞と満直を陸奥国岩瀬郡稲村(いなむら)（現福島県須賀川市）と陸奥国安積(あさか)郡篠川（現福島県郡山市）にそれぞれ派遣し，両国支配の拠点としたことに始まる。→稲村御所
