Also known as Ixora. An evergreen shrub of the Rubiaceae family native to southern China and Malaysia. The leaves are obovate and 5-10 cm long. From winter to spring, corymbs grow at the ends of the branches. The corolla is fleshy, with a thin tube 2-3 cm long and four lobes at the end. The flower colors are crimson, orange, yellow, and white. It is grown in greenhouses and is suitable for potted plants, and is propagated by cuttings.
