A haiku poet of the early Edo period. His surname was Sagara. He was commonly known as Izaemon. His first name was Satan. In his later years he wrote Fujimune. He was from Sukagawa, Oshu. He is said to have been the head of a post station. He learned haiku at Mitoku in Edo, and later joined Chowa. He became acquainted with Basho in Edo during the Enpo era (1673-81), and in 1689 (Genroku 2) he let Basho stay at his home for several days during his pilgrimage along the Oku no Hosomichi. His edited works include Shinobu-zuri, Date-goromo, Ichi-no-kido, and Ezo-mondan-sho.

江戸前期の俳人。姓は相楽（さがら）。通称は伊左衛門。初号は乍憚（さたん）。晩年藤躬と書いた。奥州須賀川の人。宿駅の長であったという。江戸の未得（みとく）に俳諧を学び，のち調和（ちようわ）につく。延宝年間(1673‐81)に江戸で芭蕉を知り，1689年(元禄2)〈おくのほそ道〉行脚の芭蕉を自宅に数日逗留させている。編著に《摺（しのぶずり）》《伊達衣（だてごろも）》《一の木戸》《蝦夷（えぞ）文段抄》がある。
