A colloquial name for low-grade printing paper, it is classified as printing paper D. It is made primarily from mechanical pulp with a small amount of chemical pulp added. It is used for temporary printed materials such as advertising flyers. There is also no clear distinction between this and printing paper, which is made primarily from recycled paper. Josara paper corresponds to printing paper C, and contains a high percentage of chemical pulp. It is mainly used for the main text of magazines, office paper, and study paper, but as the use of recycled paper has increased, it has become difficult to classify paper based on raw material composition alone.
