A Swedish patriotic group. It was founded in Stockholm in 1811 under the influence of Romanticism. Its predecessor was a university student social organization in Uppsala. Its goal was to revive the free spirit, masculine courage, and honest hearts of the Goths of old, and its members were mainly poets and historians. Famous leaders included writer Jacob Adlerbeth, history professor Hjøjerg, the father of Swedish gymnastics Ring, poet Tegner, and poet Arvid August Afzelius.

スウェーデンの愛国主義団体。ロマン主義の影響下1811年ストックホルムで結成された。その前身はウプサラの大学生社交組織。往時のゴート人の有した自由精神，男子の勇気，誠実な心の復活を目標に掲げ，おもに詩人や歴史学者らが参加。指導的な人々としては作家アドレルベトJacob Adlerbeth，歴史学教授イェイイェル，スウェーデン体操の父リング，詩人テグネール，詩人アフセリウスArvid August Afzeliusが有名。
