[2][一] (In Chinese, "江" means the Yangtze River). ※Kanazoshi, Takesai (1621-23), Vol. 2: "The waters of this river are greener than the heavens, but this is how they were made." [二] ("江" is used to mean the Yodo River). The old city of Osaka. Also, specifically, the area around Dotonbori. ※Ukiyozoshi, Danshoku Daikan (1687), Vol. 8: "The Suikakubune boat is moored in the shallows of Jiangnan . " [三] ("江" is used to mean Omi). The southern part of Omi (Shiga Prefecture). Southern Omi. *Essays: Kujakuro Notes (1768) 3 "Kashida Boshu was still in Jiangnan at this time" [4] A place name in northwestern Aichi Prefecture. Located on the left bank of the Kiso River, it has been a thriving silkworm farming area since ancient times. It is currently developing as an industrial city of chemical fibers. Mandara-ji Temple is located here. It was incorporated as a city in 1954 ( Showa 29 ).
