A poet of the Kamakura and Nanboku-cho periods. His given name is also known as Kyoun. His father was Hoin Jōben. He became a monk at an early age, and is known for his activities in the poetry world since the publication of the "Hana Jūshu Yōsho" in 1315. In October 1344, he wrote "Konō Zammai-in Dedicated Waka". The following year, he received the Kokin Tenshū ... His family collections include "Keiun Hoinshu" and "Keiun Hyakushu."

生年：永仁年間?(1293～99)
鎌倉・南北朝時代の歌人。名は「きょううん」とも。父は法印浄弁。早くに出家し,正和4(1315)年『花十首寄書』以来の歌壇活動が知られる。康永3/興国5(1344)年10月『金剛三昧院奉納和歌』に出詠。翌年には二条為定より古今伝授を受ける。能誉に代わり,父浄弁,頓阿,兼好と並ぶ二条為世門の和歌四天王とされるが,狷介な性格もあってか頓阿とは不仲で,長高く古風な歌風も二条派のなかでは異質である。青蓮院の尊円・尊道法親王に仕え,祇園別当目代を度々勤めている。『拾玉集』の編纂にも関与した。晩年は冷泉為秀に親近し,今川了俊,二条良基の評価も得ている。家集『慶運法印集』『慶運百首』がある。
