The first Vietnamese local lord to gain independence from Chinese rule in the 10th century. Also written as Qu. Vietnam was under direct Chinese rule for about 1,000 years after Emperor Wu of Han's expedition to the South in 110 B.C. During the Tang Dynasty, the Annan Protectorate was established in Jiaozhou (Hanoi), and it controlled the Nanzhao of Yunnan and the Champa of central Vietnam. From 906 at the end of the Tang Dynasty, local lord Cuc Tua Du (Cuc Chengyu) and in 907 Cuc Hao (Cuc Hao) were appointed naval governors to govern northern Vietnam.

10世紀，中国の支配から初めて自立したベトナムの土豪。曲氏とも書く。ベトナムは前110年，漢の武帝の南越遠征後，約1000年にわたって中国の直接支配におかれた。唐代では交州(ハノイ)に安南都護府が設置され，雲南の南詔，中部ベトナムのチャンパのおさえとなっていたが，唐末906年以降，在地土豪のクック･トゥア･ズー(曲承裕)が，907年にはクック･ハオ(曲顥)がベトナム北部を治める静海軍節度使に任じられた。
