A Buddhist term. A flower that appears to exist in the air. All phenomena in the world are essentially insubstantial, but this term is used to refer to the mistake of not correctly recognizing this and thinking that they exist as if they have substance. In other words, this refers to the flower that, when suffered from a certain type of eye disease, appears as if it exists in the air, even though it does not actually exist.
