This is the third British cruise ship to take the name of the first Queen Elizabeth, known as "the world's most famous luxury liner," and the second Queen Elizabeth II. It is operated by Cunard Line, a British shipping company under Carnival Corporation (headquartered in Florida, USA). Its maiden voyage was in October 2010. It has a gross tonnage of 90,901 tons, a total length of 294 meters, a total width of 32.30 meters, a height of 56.6 meters, and a passenger capacity of 2,068. It returned to Osanbashi Pier in Yokohama Port for the first time in Japan on March 16, 2014, and the city of Yokohama held a public tour of the ship the following day.
