"Gyokusencho" - Gyokusenjo

...Because he maintained a long and extraordinary reputation, there are many works that are said to be in his handwriting, but not many are beyond doubt. The main works are "Byobudodai" (Imperial Household Agency), with a colophon by Fujiwara Sadanobu, "Hakujutsu: Poems of a Relaxed and Happy Life" (Maeda Ikutokukai), which is in the same style as the "Enchin: Imperial Edict of the Posthumous Title of the Grand Priest and Master Chisho" (Tokyo National Museum), which is recorded in historical records as having been written by Hakushi, "Santai Hakushi Shimaki" (Masaki Art Museum), and "Gyokusenjo" (Imperial Household Agency), which is unusually spirited for Hakushi, in that he himself said, "Not like usual." In addition, there are over ten letters, some of which contain kana that are surely indicative of Michikaze's style, but the whereabouts of the originals are unknown today, and only copies can be found in the Shuko Naniwacho, published at the end of the Edo period.
