…This kiln was a small, single-chambered snake kiln, unlike any other, and Kanekai produced the tea utensils that Yoshihiro liked here, and also went to the Seto kiln to learn how to make tea caddies. Later, the Osato kiln, a kiln related to the feudal domain, was built in Kajiki-cho. Tenmoku glaze was often used in these two kilns, and white-glazed pottery, commonly known as Hibakari-te, was also fired here. …
