Noh play. Side Noh piece. Various schools. Made by Zeami. When a vassal who received an imperial decree from Emperor Gouda visits the Otokoyama Hachiman Shrine for the Hatsuu ritual, an old man appears carrying a bow in a brocade bag, and says that he has been waiting for the lord to offer the mulberry bow to him, and hands it over to him. He then tells the story of how the world was ruled by bows and arrows, and disappears, claiming to be the god of Kora, a subordinate shrine of Hachiman Shrine. When the vassal prepares to leave, the god of Kora appears in his original form and dances to celebrate the reign of the emperor.
