〘Noun〙 The flute of the Xiqiang people, a foreign tribe in the west of ancient China. Also, its sound. ※Honsho Monsui (around 1060) vol. 13, offering to the monk Tamekūya, a prayer for the Great Perfection of Wisdom Sutra in gold letters〈Sanzen Dotō〉 "The pipe of the Cave Shaoqi flute. It swells when it is clear." [Wang Zhihuan - Liangzhou zi ]
