〘noun〙 Medicine that has been kneaded together into small granules. Spherical medicine. It is the opposite of powdered medicine and decoctions. Pills. ※Goyujojo Diary - 8th February 1480 (12th year of Bunmei) "I received the Gokwan medicine of Seukei." ※Inryoken Diary - 18th September 1487 (19th year of Bunmei) "I met _two medicines, _one for _each pill, 500 round triangular pills, an alcoholic drink, and _one 100 round cinnabar pills."
