Kansai region - Kanhoku region

...the northeastern region of the Korean peninsula. One of the eight provinces of Korea, also known as the Kanbuk region. Currently it belongs to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and is divided into two direct-controlled cities and three provinces, as described below.
