〘 noun 〙 An American long-range bomber used during World War II. Made by Boeing. First flew in 1942. Maximum speed 576 kilometers per hour. Range 6,598 kilometers. With four engines, it was the largest bomber at the time. It was mainly used for attacks on the Japanese mainland.
