The species included in the oriental orchids include the Cymbidium serrata and Cymbidium serrata, which grow naturally in the relatively warm regions of Japan, central and southern China, and Taiwan, as well as the Kinryohen, Housairan, Oran, Melan, and Kanpooran, which grow naturally in slightly hotter regions, and varieties that are thought to be natural hybrids between these. All grow naturally, and there are no artificially hybridized varieties.
