The Oranje River is the largest river in Africa, with a total length of about 2,100 km. It is the sixth largest river in Africa, and is the largest in the world. It originates in the northeastern border of Lesotho, collects water from the Basto Plateau, then flows westward across South Africa, forming the border with Namibia, before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean.
